Ana Cavalheiro

Ana was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. Her fascination for jewelry started in her early years, while browsing through her mother's jewelry. There was a particular piece that amazed her: a gold necklace 60" long that was in her family for more than 300 years, passed through mother to the eldest daughter.

Later, she graduated in Economics and embarked in a career in marketing that took her to Lausanne, Switzerland and Paris, France. Shortly after that, however, Ana decided to change her life and pursue her passion for jewelry seriously. While in Paris she started creating her own jewels while training at the "Ecole du Louvre (BJO Formation) " where she learned traditional European methods of jewelry handicraft.

Inspired by vibrant colors and traditional Portuguese architecture, Ana's designs bring together her appreciation of the timeless classic with the modern lines. Ana is often inspired by romantic and medieval motifs that she combines with carefully chosen, bright and colorful gemstones. Ana now lives and works in Santa Monica, California, where the sun shines the whole year.
