Kezha Hatier
Born in Berkeley, CA, much of Kezha Hatier formative years were spent either on a stool in her father's workshop watching him work with leather and silver, or in the museums and galleries of the Bay Area. Images of the environment strongly influence her work. Many design ideas are also influenced by the old dress and art of her French and American Indian ancestors. She blends traditional lines, colors, and materials with modern ones to create jewelry which moves and encourages confidence, beauty, and love of life. Kezha was featured as one of nine new designers at the summer 2006 international JA jewelry in New York and has had pieces in magazines and on elle.com. She is represented in stores throughout the country.
